Joey Homans serves as general counsel for Dawson County. The Board of Commissioners initially appointed the firm of Fox, Chandler, Homans, Hicks & McKinnon, LLP County Attorney in January of 1997. Joey advises the County’s elected leaders, appointed officers and citizens regarding legal issues the County encounters. Joey and other members of the firm also draft local legislation and ordinances and litigate for the County as necessary.
