Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker
Department: Dawson County Facilities
Salary: $12.95 - $14.45 Hourly
Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to attend to the overall day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the grounds and department buildings of Dawson County Facilities.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must have ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculation at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school equivalent. Applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years landscaping experience; skills in maintaining the grounds at department facilities by cutting grass, weed-eating, trimming trees and hedges, planting grass, spreading hay, and edging lawns; skills in oral and written communication; and ability to lift heavy items as needed. Individual must be a citizen of the United States or qualified to work in the United States, possess a valid Georgia driver’s license, satisfactory driver’s history, and pass a background check and a drug screening.
