Family Treatment Court - Case Manager


Job Title: Family Treatment Court Case Manager 
Department: Northeastern Judicial Circuit/Dawson County
Salary: $15.26 hourly
Status: Full-Time/Grant-Funded/Hourly/Non-Exempt


Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and case management support for the Dawson County Treatment Court and reports directly to the Program Coordinator. The incumbent prepares, updates, and maintains offender files; answers phones and routes calls to office staff; maintains databases and tracking systems for the program; attends biweekly status review meetings and court sessions; tracks participant demographics and program statistics for grant reporting; requisitions and distributes supplies; and maintains confidentiality of all offenders and office information as required by federal rule.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of two years of administrative or case management experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills. Experience working with the criminal justice population and counseling/case management is necessary. Applicant must be familiar with HIPAA and Federal Confidentiality Rule 42CFR regulations; recordkeeping skills including participant records, treatment notes, case plans, budgets, and Excel proficiency including spreadsheet creation and maintenance. Individual must be detail-oriented, work well under pressure and in the fast-paced environment of the courts under limited supervision. Applicant must possess a valid Georgia driver license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and must pass a background check and drug screening as required by Dawson County Government.
