YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN US FOR THE FIFTH ANNUAL
August 30, 2013
Fireworks display will be best visible from Tiger Stadium (1665 Perimeter Road Dawsonville), but will also be visible from Veterans Memorial Park (186 Recreation Road Dawsonville), and other points along Hwy 9 South.
Although the July 3rd plans for the event included food and novelty vendors, live entertainment, and children’s activities, the contingency plans are not conducive to these activities. Therefore, the event will consist of a spectacular fireworks display only. The DCHS Tigers will match up against the Lumpkin County Indians at Tiger Stadium located on Perimeter Road. Kick-off time is scheduled for 7:30pm. The fireworks display will immediately follow the game and be visible from the stadium, fan parking areas, Veterans Memorial Park, and points along Hwy 9 South. The show will begin between 9:30-10:0pm, marking the beginning of the holiday weekend and a much anticipated Tiger victory. For those planning to attend the football game, general game admission fees will apply.
Sorry, no pets (service animals only, please).
