No charge for general admission, live entertainment, and fireworks display. Children’s activities, souvenirs, and concessions will be available for purchase. Please do not bring coolers to event site.

Sponsors and Vendors Needed

The Dawson Day “Sparks in the Park” event is made possible thru sponsorship and vendor contributions.  Become a part of the 2012 Dawson Day “Sparks in the Park”, either by becoming a sponsor or applying as vendor, and you’ll experience Dawson County’s newest and most exciting community tradition, and receive a great value and premium exposure for your marketing dollars.

To apply as a sponsor or vendor, please submit Page 10 of the Sponsor & Vendor Application and your payment to Buffie Hamil by 4:00PM on March 30, 2012.  This will ensure that your information will be included in the upcoming Summer/Fall Activity guide.  Applications will be accepted after March 30th; however, a late fee of $50 will be added onto the standard rate.  All food and beverage vendors must also read the Dawson County Health Department Guidelines and submit the Food Vendor Agreement with application and deposit.

Dawson County Parks & Rec. is currently accepting bids for the Chidlren's Activities for this event.  If you are interested in bidding on this project, please complete and return the Children's Activities Bid Specs to Buffie Hamil by 4:00PM on March 30, 2012.

The Dawson Day "Sparks in the Park" in Dawsonville, GA is the place to be to get your fill of family fun, a variety of foods, and an excellent fireworks display.

Children’s activities will include inflatable moonwalk, a giant rock wall, face painting, and more! From popcorn to boiled peanuts, to snow cones, you’ll find your favorite carnival snacks at your fingertips.

Don’t forget to bring your blanket or lawn chair and find a spot on the grass to enjoy the live entertainment and the fireworks display at dark.  Dawson Day will satisfy your every need for a night out with your family, friends, and neighbors.

ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ON SCHOOL OR COUNTY PROPERTY.  PLEASE DO NOT BRING COOLERS.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO AND FROM EVENT SITE AND OFF-SITE PARKING.

FREE PARKING AT ROCK CREEK, RIVER PARK, RIVERVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.  Pending weather, FREE parking will also be available in the fields along Bannister Road (between Bannister Rd and River Park).

HANDICAP PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ROCK CREEK.
