The Dawson County Coroner’s Office investigates all deaths reported to this office to determine the cause and manner of death in the cases where we have jurisdiction. When necessary, we coordinate investigations with local law enforcement, the medical examiner’s office, the G.B.I. and the District Attorney’s office. We keep accurate records as required by law and are available for court testimony.
