Automobile Tags

A Georgia license tag must be purchased by out-of-state newcomers within a thirty (30) day period. For more information, visit the Dawson County Tax Commissioner's office.

Driver's License

Driver Licenses are issued by the Georgia State Patrol Office, located off of GA 400 in Forsyth County. Office hours are Tuesday - Friday 8AM - 6PM, Saturday 8AM - 12PM (closed on Mondays). Please visit Georgia Department of Driver Services for more information.
